Despite the major disruption to everyday life for many people across Australia here on the Mitchell Plateau the creeks keep running, the birds keep singing and the stars keep shining. It's as if the natural world knows nothing of the chaos out there at the moment.
This is what I call an average photo of an amazing location. The giveaway is the black and white conversion. Sometimes a photo really benefits from being black and white but oftentimes the black and white conveniently hides the fact that the photographer wasn't shooting with interesting light and interesting colours. So, what to do? Convert it to black and white and chuck some contrast at it. Guilty as charged.
