I don't think the green tree ants got the memo about self-isolation. They busy themselves for most of the day foraging for food which they store in a nest they stitch together from leaves. Their green bums are high in Vitamin C, full of ascorbic acid and are known for tasting like lemon and lime, if you're that way inclined. The Bush Tucker Man would crush them in a mug along with Eucalypt leaves and make a tea. At least that's what he did when the camera was rolling. What amazing little creatures.
